Blackbird (2013) Overview
Troubled teen Sean Randall (Connor Jessup) forms a friendship with a preppy teenage girl, Deanna Roy (Alexia Fast). However, when Deanna's boyfriend objects, it results in a violent confrontation and Sean threatens to kill him.
When the police then raid the home where Sean lives with his father, Ricky, who's a hunter, they find all kinds of weapons. They also find a revenge story Sean wrote and what they think is a "hit list" with 20 names of people with whom Sean has had trouble. Believing that Sean was about to carry out a Columbine type shooting, they send him to a youth detention facility. Sean has to overcome his dark reputation and prove his innocence to Deanna and the community.
